The Journal of Literacy and Technology

The Journal of Literacy and Technology provides a free, accessible scholarly forum for all interested parties to explore and debate issues pertinent to novel literacies and digital culture. Part of the mission of The Journal of Literacy and Technology is to open new spheres of academic conversation, to make ideologies and assumptions apparent, and to consider possibilities and alternatives.

Scholarly articles and reviews span from the historical to the cutting-edge, from critical research to applied theory and practice.

The Journal of Literacy and Technology was edited by Dr. Noemi Marin, Professor of Communication at Florida Atlantic University, until her passing in June 2023.  The journal was founded by Jonathan Taylor, Associate Professor of English at Ferris State University.
